There’s a tree outside my building that displays a “Lost” (and infrequently “Found”) note to passerby. I like to think the tree is writing these notes. (Maybe there’s a chapter about this in the Secret Life of Trees?) Well, the “Finding Tree” inspired me to make  a real life Shel Silverstein “Giving Tree”.

Every so often I’ll be seeding the tree with gifts. If you have anything to give (and it can fit into the hanging candle lantern), shoot us a tendril, bud.
